Education
RDF has successfully accomplished two projects related with “Elimination of Worst forms of Child Labor (WFCL)” in support of ILO and ActionAid Nepal in Janakpur Municipality of Dhanusha and Lahan Municipality of Siraha Districts. In this program, Out of School Program for children (particularly  child  labor), alternative education, adult literacy, school enrollment and continuing schooling, school infrastructure support, enhancing quality education, interaction with schoolteachers for quality education, Child-to-Child, parenting education, legal literacy, schooling support, consultation meetings with parent/guardians, health education program – particularly Sex and Reproductive Health – for adolescents and working girls, situation analysis on the drop outs, planning meetings for quality education with District Education Office (DEO), monitoring and evaluation of schooling of children at risk, Convention on Rights of Children (CRC), Community Based Child Development Center (CBCDC) were mainly focused.

Quality Education:
The RDF has successfully concluded different education projects for promoting quality education, such as CRC, CBCDC, NFE, OSP, coordination meeting on quality education, school enrollment, schooling support, situation analysis of school dropouts, school inventory improvement, C-to-C, parenting education in support of UNICEF. The target group of the project is child labors and children at risk aged 6 to 18. The aim of the project is to enroll the working children aged 6 to 10 to school, conduct alternative education to those aged 10 to 14 and enroll them to school, and operate micro-entrepreneurship training to those aged 14 to 18 for enhancing their capability to generate income.
